I'm Going on an Adventure!

I couldn't help quoting Bilbo Baggins for the title, this was how I felt when boarding that plane for Europe to become a digital Nomad.

I was both excited and terrified as I boarded that plane. Excited as I finally was taking the step to travel the world in a way I had always dreamed of. That I could go and have a chance to experience new cultures and see new sights. At the same time I was terrified for a very similar reason, something that is new is inherently unknown, and the unknown can be scary.

I also thought about what I would be leaving behind in Australia, the friends and family that I would miss. Now that I have been in Europe for a couple months I can say that I am very glad for technology that allows us to stay in contact over vast distances.

It is also for a similar reason that I am launching this site. My original plan was to launch the site within the first month or so of having arrived in Europe, but I was delayed. Now two months after I boarded that plane I am finally ready to launch the site. I really hope you all enjoy it and that this website can be another avenue for us to stay connected.
